Welcome to the NCAS website.

The aim of the Northamptonshire County Archery Society is to promote the great sport of archery within the
county of Northamptonshire and throughout the East Midlands region.

For those who are interested in taking up the sport, you’ll find links to archery clubs near to you, with all the information you need to get you started.

For existing archers, there’s plenty of information, including the latest news from the county, information about events and tournaments, records, county coaching, and lots more.

Archery can be highly competitive and technical – especially as an Olympic sport, but at the same time it provides a relaxed leisure activity for countless thousands of people.

To get started in this exciting pastime, we would strongly recommend an archery beginners course. Most clubs offer their own beginners courses, which are run on a regular basis and usually last for six weeks, with instruction being given by fully qualified coaches.

To join a beginners course, or to find out more about archery, simply contact your nearest club (a full list can be found here). You can be assured of a warm welcome and we guarantee you’ll have a lot of fun.
