Dean Edwards of WOAC has shot a new 50m gents recurve county record at this years UK Masters at Lilleshall on 5th June 2011. His score of 317 for the 50m distance section of a Gents FITA round beat the previous record of 315 which stood since 1982, was held by Keith Muspratt then of Northampton Archery Club. Results
Dean has also broken the gents recurve record for a FITA 720 round with a score of 623. The previous record of 619 was held by John Inkley of Nene Bowmen since June 2006. Dean achieved the new record at Rivernook Bowmen’s WRS event in Surrey on 11th June 2011.
