The new Senior 50+ age groups have recently been added to the county records page categories.
The 50+ age groups are separate from the senior age groups and are a choice for the individual archer. If you are over 50, you don’t have to only claim Senior 50+ records.
If a claim is submitted as Senior 50+ and the score is also higher than the current Senior record, then it will count for both. If not then it will be a 50+ record only.
The county records officer will not be checking the date of birth on all Senior claims to see if it qualifies for 50+, as some archers might not want to have their scores included as 50+.
The new age groups were introduced in October 2022, to come in to play from 1st January 2023. If you have achieved a Senior 50+ record since 1st January, then you can claim the score.
