Derek Bett of Kettering Archers has broken his own Barebow county record for a York round with an astonishing 887 points!
This is also way above the current national record of 834 which Derek would have been able to claim had he shot the score at a Record Status event. Derek’s previous record of 823 was set in September 2008. The new score came during a club target day round on 18th September.
What makes this even more impressive is that Derek was forced to switch to shooting left handed recently due to injury.
