Josh Hall of WOAC has smashed his own previous Junior Gents Compound Metric II county record with a fantastic 1349. Josh achieved the new record score at the NCAS 3rd Caswell Trophy Shoot held on 7th August hosted by Wicken Archery Club. His previous record score of 1273 was achieved in May this year.
As well as the overall Metric II record, Josh also broke all four distance records. 60m with 331, previous record score was 316. 50m with 341, the previous score was 326. 40m with 331, previous score was 318. And 30m with 346, previous score was 341. Which means Josh also broke the Long Metric II record with 672, and the Metric II Short Metric with 677. The previous scores were 618 and 659 respectively. Josh’s mum Jude Hall has three new Ladies Compound county records. At Northampton AC’s recent open tournament, Jude broke the Long National record with 604. The previous record score of 574 was held by Ann Hartfield since August 2004. Jude also broke the Double Long National with 1196. Ann Hartfield also held the previous record of 1132. Results
