Kayleigh Dunkley has six new outdoor Junior Ladies Barebow records. Including four brand new distance scores to go with her recent Metric III record achieved at the NCAS 3rd Caswell Shoot on 7th August 2011. 50m distance – 168. 40m distance – 201. 30m distance – 150. 20m distance – 249. At Northampton Archery Club’s Open National’s shoot in July, Kayleigh set a new record for a Short National round with 340. And at Nene Bowmen’s Celebration Shoot in July, Kayleigh set a new record for a Short Windsor with 583.
Also at Nene Bowmen’s Celebration Shoot in July, Angela Bray broke her own Ladies Barebow county record for a Windsor round with 476. Her previous score of 418 stood since July 2010.
Kettering had a club target day on 20th November shooting Warwick rounds. Derek Bett has broken his own Gents Barebow record for a Warwick round with 376. His previous score of 350 stood since July 2009. On the day Derek also set a new Double Warwick record with 724. Shahram Montasser set a new Gents Recurve record for a Double Warwick with 740. Fred Aldridge shot a new Gents Longbow record for a Double Warwick with 321. Todd Burlington set a new Junior Gents Recurve record also for a Double Warwick with 654. And Elaine Catt improved on her own Ladies Longbow record for a Warwick with 98. Her previous score of 88 was set in July 2009.
Another club target day on 25th November, this time indoors shooting a Bray 1 round. Kayleigh Dunkley broke the Junior Ladies Barebow record with 153. The previous record of 115 was held by Lauren Bosworth since December 2010. Sam Lewin also broke his own previous Junior Longbow record with a new score of 66. His previous score of 32 was also set in December 2010. Kieran Dunkley also broke his own previous Junior Gents Barebow record with a new score of 49. His previous score of 45 was again also set in December 2010. And finally Derek Bett has also broke his own previous Gents Barebow record with an impressive 240. His previous score of 234 was once again also set in December 2010.
