WOAC archers James Mason and Lizzie Cantopher both came away as winners at Sherwood Archers World Record Status FITA 18 Tournament on 15th January in Rainworth Notts. James’ round score of 555 in the gents recurve put him ahead of Peter James of Meriden in 2nd place and Dean Edwards also of WOAC in 3rd. Lizzie shot weel to beat Laura Bell of Nottingham University AC in 2nd, and Julie Bancroft of Sherwood Archers in 3rd.
The event saw most of the top Compound archers in the UK taking part including Liam Grimwood, Chris White, Duncan Busby, Adam Ravenscroft and Tapami Kalmaru. Duncan was the eventual winner with 590 points.
