John Bull of Targetcraft achieved two new junior gents compound county records in December 2011.
The first to come was a new Worcester round score of 299, just a point away from the maximum, and a point better than his own previous record score of 298. The new score came during a club open target evening on 9th December.
The next day during the junior county training session, John also took the Bray 1 round county record with 282. The previous record of 262 was held by Josh Hall of WOAC since February 2010.
Dean Edwards of WOAC broke the Double Bray 1 record with 560. The score came during a Targetcraft open Friday evening session on 6th January. The previous record of 542 was held by Ian Matthews since February 2010.
Fred Aldridge of Kettering Archers has set a new gents Longbow record for a Triple Portsmouth with 1174. Fred achieved the score at Archers of Raunds Open Portsmouth on 15th January.
Daniel Watt of WOAC has broken the gents compound record for a Triple Portsmouth with a score of 1688. The new record came at Archers of Raunds Open Portsmouth on 15th January. The previous record of 1677 was set be David Quemby of Northampton AC in November 2011.
Daniel has also set a new gents compound record for a Triple FITA 25 with a combined score of 1645. The score came at Ely Archers World Record Status FITA 25 event on 21st January.
Jack Taylor of Long Buckby AC has broken the junior gents recurve record for a Bray 1 round with 253. Jack achieved the new score during a county junior session on 7th January. The previous record of 252 was held be James Mason of WOAC since January 2007.
Archie McDougall of Targetcraft Archers has set a new gents Longbow record for a FITA 25 round with 321. Archie achieved the score on 29th January at Welland Valley Archers World Record Status event.
In February, Lizzie Cantopher of WOAC has twice broken the ladies recurve Double FITA 18 county record. On 12th February she scores 1044 for both her rounds, then on 26th she improved it further with 1085 at the WOAC Jim McKeown Memorial FITA 18.
Lizzie also broke the single round FITA 18 record at the Jim McKeown Memorial shoot, with a great score of 554. Beating her own previous record for the round of 543 set in October 2011.
Susan Corless of Northampton AC has broken the ladies recurve county record for a Combined FITA round with a score of 991. Susan achieved the score at Bowmen of Rutland World Record Status FITA event of 12th February. The previous record of 976 was held by Pat Jones of British Timken Bowmen since February 2005.
Gyorgy Zsiga of Long Buckby AC has set a brand new record for a Double Combined FITA with a score of 2101. Gyorgy, who has shot for the Hungarian national team, achieved the score at Bowmen of Rutland World Record Status FITA event of 12th February.
Derek Bett of Kettering Archers has broken his own gents barebow county record for a FITA 25 with a score of 500. Derek shot the new record at Welland Valley Archers World Record Status FITA event on 29th January. His previous record of 438 stood since January 2011.
David Plater of Nene Bowmen has broken the gents longbow record for a Long National round with a score of 148. David shot the new score during a club target day shoot on 19th February. The previous record of 84 was held by Joe Burlington of Kettering Archers since October 2009.
Mark Longland of Nene Bowmen has broken the junior gents barebow county record for a Frostbite round on 8th January with a score of 60. The previous record of 33 was held by Nathen Stevenson of Ketter Archers since December 2010.
Mark has also improved on his own junior gents barebow record for a Portsmouth round with a score of 240. Mark set the new record on 6th January during a club target day session. His previous record score of 188 stood since March 2011.
