David Forster of Nene Bowmen has two new junior gents recurve county records. At this years EMAS Senior Inter-counties Team Tournament (Thoresby) at Lincoln, David. having been picked for the senior team shot 989 for the York round improving on his own previous score of 922 set last August. The second record came at the recent Tri-counties county team match between Northants, Beds and Bucks at Daventry where David shot 1152 for a Hereford round. Again improving on his own previous record of 1144 set only in July this year.
Josh Hall of WOAC also achieved a new county record at the Tri-counties match. Josh shot a huge 1272 for a Bristol 2 round improving on his own previous junior gents compound record of 1256 set at the 2nd Caswell shoot in July.
Also, Shane Brown of AOR has achieved a new gents recurve county record of a Bristol 2 round with 444. Shane shot the new record at Jolly Archers open shoot on 20th September.
