Jon Bull of Targetcraft Archers has six new junior gents compound county records to his name. Four of them came at this years British Target Champs at Lilleshall on 13th August. Jon shot a new Metric I record with a fantastic 1354. Improving on his own previous record score of 1351 achieved at the Junior Nationals just over a month previous. Jon also shot 336 for the Metric I 50m distance, beating his own previous score of 332. With another record 30m of 353 Jon also took the Metric I – Short Metric record with 689, again improving on his own previous score of 683 set at the Junior Nationals.
Jon’s other two records were set at Targetcraft Archers Westlodge Challenge club shoot on 10th September 2011. Jon scored 438 for a Warwick round beating Josh Hall’s previous record of 412 set in June 2010. John also set a new record for a Long Warwick round with 414.
No fewer than 16 records came through from Kettering Archers members at the end of August. The majority of these were shot at Kettering Archers Short Metric and Long Metric club shoots in August.
