Leonie Allen of Targetcraft Archers has broken another Junior Ladies Recurve record. This time she shot 1192 for a Metric III round at the NCAS Record Status 3rd Caswell Tournament on 7th August. The new record beat her own previous record of 1073 set in August last year.
Also at the 3rd Caswell Tournament, David Forster of Nene Bowmen has broken the Junior Gents Recurve record for the Gents FITA 90m distance by 1 point over his own previous record with 257.
There’s been yet another National round county record, with more yet to come. This time Mick Lovell of Northampton Archery Club has a new Gents Recurve record for a Double National with a score of 1097. Mick scored 535 in the morning and 562 in the afternoon at Northampton Archery Clubs recent open shoot, beat Chaz Wilson’s previous record of 1016 set in August 2004.
