NCAS Caswell Series 2023 – Stage 2 Results
The results are now available from Stage 2 of the NCAS Caswell Series 2023, held on Sunday 25th June 2023, kindly hosted by Long Buckby Archery Club.
“Long Buckby archery club would like to say thank you to county Archers and those archers visiting from outside, great days shooting as promised no rain, Thunder or Lightening this time, just forgot to ask for no gusts… Lets see what happens next time.
A big thankyou to the club members who dropped in and out through the day to offer assistance, and those that spent most of the day with us. And of course to the archers and family who helped with the looking for arrows and moving levelling bosses made for a swift and quick change overs.
Always appreciated at any club or county event.

Long Buckby AC 1st Bob Fricker Trophy Shoot
To all archers that took part in the Bob Fricker Trophy shoot, Long Buckby Archery Club would like to thank you all, it was great to see you all brave what turned out to be a very Hot day!! And then the Thunder and lightning came you couldn’t write it if you tried.
Thank you to all that helped set up the shoot and those that helped through the day.
Again thank you from the club, And congratulations to Dean Edwards of Towcester Archers, who won the Bob Fricker Trophy with the highest scoring round with a recurve.

NCAS Caswell Series – Stage 2
The entry form is now available for Stage 2 of the revamped NCAS Caswell Series 2023. Kindly hosted by Long Buckby AC on Sunday 25th June 2023.
Rounds: WA 1440 / Metric I-V (Entries for half day rounds will be accepted if space allows but preference will be given to Full Day rounds. Half Day rounds will not be eligible for stage placing points).
Location: Daventry District Sports Club, Western Avenue, Daventry, Northamptonshire. NN11 4ST.
Stage 1 – Double WA720 / Metric122 / Metric80 – 28th May hosted by Targetcraft Archers. Entry Form
Stage 2 – WA1440 / Metric I-V – 25th June hosted by Long Buckby AC.
Stage 3 – York / Hereford / Bristol I-V – Sunday 23rd July hosted by Wellingborough OAC.
The Caswell Series Finals will take place on Sunday 20th August, hosted by Wellingborough Open Archery Club. The finals are invitational based on stage scores, and will be WA720 ranking rounds followed by Head to Head matches to determine the NCAS Caswell Series winners.
All 3 Caswell stages are part of the NCAS Chris Mason Celebration League, including half day rounds.
