Here are the current standings in the junior version Chris Mason Celebration League.
Full rules and information about the league can be found here.
The last of the 5 sessions planned for the 2015 – 2016 indoor season was completed in March.
I would like to thank the parents of our juniors who supported these sessions, the coaches who gave up their time and most of all the juniors themselves for their enthusiasm, dedication and hard work.
We will be arranging new sessions commencing in November 2016 through to March 2017 and very much look forward to seeing both new and old faces.
Whilst we will be mailing all clubs in September with details, if juniors would like to reserve a place now, please contact me by e-mail email@example.com I will need your name and club details, age in September 16, bow style and contact details please.
We welcome all bow styles and ages up to 21.
For those who have not attended the previous junior coaching sessions, we have covered:
These sessions are not possible without the support of our Counties Coaches who have our thanks for making each of the sessions such a success.

This year we are planning to hold 5 junior coaching sessions running from November 2015 to March 2016. The format will be similar to last year with the emphasis for Juniors to meet and get to know the County Juniors, skill acquisition, strength and conditioning exercises, bow set up, tuning, competition preparation. We hope that as last year members of the AGB Academy will also be present at our sessions and that a specialist Strength and Conditioning coach will be on hand. Above all, the coaching sessions will, hopefully, be fun.
The coaching sessions will be open to all Juniors within the FITA age range (up to 21) and open to all bow styles.
Each session will be held on Sunday afternoons at Montsaye Community College in Rothwell, on the following dates…
I would like to hear from any Coaches who would like to support these sessions. We will hopefully as last year, be placing the Juniors into coaching groups with a minimum of two coaches per group. Therefore if you are just embarking on a level one course, don’t think that these sessions are not for you. By working with more experienced coaches, you will gain valuable experience. For more experienced coaches, you will lead activities within the group using the plan – do – review coaching practice.
If you helped last year, enjoyed the experience and would like to do it again, can you please let me know.
If you were not there last year, but would like to help our excellent Juniors improve further, please let me know.
Just drop me an e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org

If you are interested in attending the 2015 / 2016 Junior Coaching Sessions please drop me an email. We will need to know:
Number of years shooting:
Places will be limited, we think dependent upon Coach availability, between 25 and 30 Juniors. There is no selection process, it will be on a first come, first served basis. We have had a fabulous response to date from both juniors wishing to attend and coaches wanting to assist. There are still places available.
A small fee of £25 per archer is expected to help cover some costs, but as last year NCAS will be subsidising these sessions. Many County Clubs are also helping their Junior Archers to attend, ask what yours can do.
We look forward to welcoming both Coaches and Archers to the 2015 / 2016 coaching sessions.
Junior Coaching Officer
On Sunday 29th March, we concluded the Junior County Coaching sessions by shooting a Bray 1 round, followed by a coaching session. I’m pleased to report that 10 new Junior county records were achieved for the round.
All the coaches involved would like to thank the Juniors and their Parents for their support over the four sessions. The enthusiasm of the Juniors to learn, to try and to achieve was amazing, which in itself inspired all the coaches involved.
Thank you to all the coaches who participated to make this an outstanding set of coaching sessions which will hopefully be repeated over the next indoor season.
The results from the Bray I round can be found here
