Bradley at the Archery World Cup in Shanghai

Over the last few days Bradley Denny of Archers of Raunds, has been representing Great Britain in the senior team, at Stage 1 of the Archery World Cup in Shanghai, China.

On Wednesday 23rd April, Brad qualified in 79th place after the ranking round with a FITA 70m score of 623. Sean Evans also competing in the senior team for the first time, qualified in 59th with 640. Larry Godfrey qualified 26th with 651.

In the elimination rounds on Thursday 24th April, Bradley was unfortunately beaten in his first round match, losing 6-0 to Kang Tien of Chinese Taipei who ranked 34th. Only losing out in each set by just a couple of points 27/29 25/27 27/29.

Sean won his first round match 7-1 against Fabio C Emilio of Brazil. But lost in the next round the Florian Kahllund of Germany in a very close match 6-4. Larry won both his first and second round matches before being beaten in the last 16 by C.L Dalmei of Brazil 6-2.
